Twins Day!!

Now that Ryan is in The Intermediate School (which was the middle school when I went to school), they get to do so many fun things! For Red Ribbon Week, one of the days was Twins Day. I think Ryan and Mitchell did a great job matching up...Right down to their socks!!!

 

 

 

Halloween with The Mattice's....

So this Halloween, Chris didn't have to Trick or Treat with us! My friend Kim and I took the boys while the guys stayed back and watched football....(Although the guys did have to come and pick up Derrick because he hadn't been feeling well and made it about 20 minutes before he was done...) We did have a lot of fun! Kim made spaghetti, and we got some pizza for the boys. It was a fun night and just as we were ending our night, it was snowing!! Derrick was a mummy and Ryan was The #1 Livonia Bulldogs fan! Reminded me how much I hate face paint and colored hair spray!!! It was all good though.....

 

 

 

 

First Day of School......

The first day of school was Thursday September 9th. As you can see, when Ryan left for school, it was still dark! We went out to take pictures at 6:40 as the bus comes along at 6:50! School mornings are early ones for Ryan! Ryan is in 4th grade now! I still remember vividly Ryan's first day of Kindergarten! Time really does go by very quickly! Derrick just entered 1st grade and is growing fast too! He doesn't get on the bus until 8:20, so it was light out for him! These boys are the center of my life!

 

 

Oh what a night.......

We went out with some very great friends back in early August. We attempted to go to The Corn Festival in Avon, but didn't see much of the festival. We heard about 10 minutes of the band and headed out for some food and more drinks. It was a very fun night! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Catching up!!!

OK everyone....so sorry for the delay in updates to the blog! Summer was very crazy this year, but also very fun!! I have added many pictures so be sure to look at the end of the pictures on this page and click on older posts! I will get more on soon! :)

Bills Training Camp

The boys really enjoyed training camp this year. At least Ryan did. They were very tired from a long day at Darien Lake the day before, so they were moving a little slow. We went for the Junior Backers Day. The kids get to go out on the field after practice and get autographs. They LOVED that! They each had a football to get signed, and they got Trent's signature so they were happy....Weather was wonderful and a great time was had by all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hockey game!

On Sunday August 1st, we had lots of fun going to a Stars and Legends hockey game for charity. It was held for Craig Charron, who played for the Amerks and is now fighting cancer. We got to see Lindy Ruff play, which thrilled the boys to pieces. After all, they just thought he was a coach and didn't think he could play! LOL. Ryan was also tickled to see Jason Cipolla play. He is the assistant coach for the Amerks but also runs the camp Ryan goes to. And we also got to see Chris' friend Derek. He is the referee in in the picture down below. He refs for the Amerks pretty regularly. The boys got some autographs on their shirt after the game too so they were pretty happy. They were so good we all went to Red Robin after the game. What a great night!
