Basketball Camp!

Earlier in July, Ryan went to a basketball camp here at the school from 9-12. It was more of a fun camp for him to do as he doesn't play basketball in the winter, but truly does love to play! He got his medal for Runner up in the 3 on 3 contest. All the kids got a medal of some kind which was nice. The week before Derrick went to a baseball camp at the school as well. But for some reason, I didn't take any pictures!! He did very well though. He was the youngest kid there, and was able to keep up. He was playing with kids as old as 5th grade, but he did very well, and had fun!!

3rd of July.....

On the 3rd of July, Chris' parents came down along with his brother Cory and his girlfriend Courtney. What fun we had! We cooked out and then headed down to the lake for some fireworks. It was a hot day and a beautiful night. Grandma bought the boys these really neat Bulldog paw necklaces. The necklace itself lights up along with the paw! It was a fun day!!

Spring Sports

Below are some pictures of Derrick playing baseball and Ryan playing LAX. Ryan switched to LAX this year and really enjoyed it. He did miss baseball and still plays a lot at home. Think he may stick with LAX, but next spring is a ways aways yet so come next year he may choose baseball. I just want him to be happy with whatever he chooses to play but must say that LAX is more exciting to watch. On a side note, Ryan's LAX number was the same as the number his father had in High School. Ryan didn't know that nor did he pick his jersey number. He just picked one out of the box and got #4! He was tickled that they had the same numbers...:)

Class of 2022.....

So, Derrick has graduated from Kindergarten. Doesn't seem possible. Each school year passes a little quicker and I am a little frightened by that honestly. OK, maybe a lot frightened. The pictures below are of graduation day. (My mom is absent as she had back surgery the day before so was still in the hospital that morning.) She was very sad to miss it.
On another note, Ryan will be moving up to The Intermediate School next year which means getting on the bus at 6:50. (Or getting dropped off at 7:20..yet to be determined.) He is a morning person so I have no doubt that he can make it, but with his schedule with sports and all, he may appreciate the extra sleep come October. We will see I suppose.

My Boys!!

I took these pictures on Father's Day. Very rarely can I get both boys to cooperate for a photo, but they were more than happy to sit with their Dad as long as we could take some silly pics too!
