Our Football Player!!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get many pictures at the game on Saturday, as it rained pretty hard the entire game. Neither Chris nor Ryan wanted to be photographed that night! But we won 32-6! Just a quick update on their season so far...they are 2-2. Tied for second place in their division right now, but we have a tough team this week...Leroy! Here is Ryan's football picture. He looks so grown up here compared to his flag football picture from last year. He really is trying hard out on the field and paying attention. He knows the plays pretty well. We are very proud of him!! And this week is the start to Ryan's hockey season and Derrick will start beginners on Saturday. Oh Boy.....

On September 8th, Chris and I were excited to ride the bus with Derrick. We got to go to school with him for his Kindergarten Orientation, where he met his teacher, had a snack, listened to a story, and even played on the playground! We were only at school for an hour, so really Wednesday September 9th was his first "REAL" day of school..The pictures below are from his orientation day....

Ryan went back to school on September 8th. He was ready and very much needed to go back. He was getting bored and had started to adapt bad habits. He is a little boy that LOVES to read and had started to get where he didn't want to read anymore! Good news is tonight he asked for a few more minutes to read his book before lights off.....So I guess he is getting back to the school routine!!!

My baby lost his first tooth!!

I can not believe I am writing this, but Derrick lost a tooth tonight. He was out playing football with Ryan, and all of a sudden he came to the door and said "Mama, my tooth fell out!!" I could not believe what I was hearing, but indeed he did! Now he is going to start kindergarten having allready lost a tooth...Now let me mention, that Ryan did not lose his first tooth until January of this year and he was 7 and in Second Grade. So yes, I am allready not looking forward to putting Derrick on the bus for the first time this week and now he has lost a tooth. Time really does fly.........
