Christmas 2009

Another Christmas has come and gone. And it really makes me realize that each year goes quicker and quicker! Football signups are this week, baseball and lacrosse will be soon too...and we aren't even done with hockey yet! Ryan is already halfway to driving age and Derrick isn't far behind. Not to mention my stepson will be a teenager this year! Yikes! I first met him when he was about 9 months old and was just starting to walk. And that doesn't seem like that long ago! You must cherish every moment...even the bad ones because they don't last forever........
I have FINALLY posted some Christmas pictures from Christmas morning. Still working on more, but thought I would get these up for now. The boys love their ipods, and use them all the time. Great for weekend trips to the ice rink! I have to admit though, we all like the Wii. And we have yet to put together those lego sets.....One of these days though.........

Fun at the Amerks game!

On Friday December 11th, we went to the Amerks game! But first, Ryan's hockey played. They played at the Blue Cross Arena at 4, and then we got to go to The Rochester Police Dept. for some pizza. Ryan brought his friend Ryan, and even Andruw met us at the Police Dept. and got to watch the Amerks game with us. Not to mention Uncle "E" came along too. It was a long, but fun afternoon for all. We all had a BLAST!!!!

This past Saturday, we got our Christmas tree! Derrick was soooo excited he could have burst! We decided to cut it down ourselves and had a tough time deciding on one. We finally got it decorated Sunday night after a weekend full of hockey. Ryan's team won their game and are now 3-1. They are having a great season and have more drive now for their coach who was shot last week. For those of you that don't know, he is a Rochester Police Officer and was responding to a call. The team went out and won that game for him. They played very hard and were determined!! The blog is now dedicated to Santa Claus..the most popular and talked about person in our house. The boys are VERY excited and actually, Chris and I are too!!! Hopefully this weekend we can get to some cookie baking!!
